Position Overview:
The Program Management Engineer (PMT) plays a critical role within the vehicle development system, ensuring engineering teams meet program timing, technical, and system deliverables across global vehicle programs.
This role works directly with D&R engineers, subsystem managers, Vehicle Program Management (VPM), Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Finance to ensure readiness at each program gateway. Key Milestones Supported • V0 – Initial concept/prototype builds • V1 – Design validation builds • FDJ (Final Design Judgment) • PEC (Product Engineering Completion) • FEC (Final Engineering Completion) Key Responsibilities • Drive engineering deliverable readiness for assigned components and subsystems. • Track and maintain milestone deliverables aligned to GPDS (Global Product Development System). • Partner closely with D&R engineers to ensure: o CAD releases and BOM accuracy, DFMEA completion, DV/PV test plans and results o Change management alignment • Ensure all documentation and approvals are properly loaded into o FEDE o VSEM o 3DX (PLM) • Maintain milestone health dashboards and report status to Vehicle Program Teams. • Identify timing, technical, or integration risks and drive mitigation plans. • Facilitate cross-functional readiness reviews prior to gateway events. • Help maintain team focus on critical path deliverables impacting vehicle launch. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Automotive Engineering. • 3+ years of automotive engineering or program experience. • Working knowledge of GPDS milestones. • Experience working with enterprise systems (3DX, FEDE, VSEM). • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills. • Ability to drive accountability without direct authority.
Position 2:
Program Management Engineering Lead Cost Governance & Design Cost Walk Leadership (Team of 4) Position Overview: The Program Management Engineering Lead manages a team of four Program Management Engineers responsible for driving engineering cost discipline and milestone process rigor across vehicle programs. This role leads structured Design Cost Walks and ensures cost deliverables progress successfully from sourcing approval through final cost confirmation checkpoints. Key Process Milestones • TSC / PSC – Technical & Program Sourcing Committees • TTC – Tooling & Timing Confirmation • Checkpoint C – Cost & Design Commitment Gate Key Responsibilities • Lead and develop a team of four PM engineers. • Drive cost governance from sourcing approval through Checkpoint C. • Facilitate structured Design Cost Walks to: o Validate piece cost vs. target o Review BOM alignment o Confirm sourcing strategy o Validate cost impact of engineering changes • Ensure cost deliverables are ready for TSC/PSC approvals. • Monitor piece cost, tooling investment, and timing alignment. • Partner with: o Purchasing o Finance o Manufacturing Engineering o Vehicle Line Directors • Identify and mitigate cost risks prior to program gateways. • Provide executive-level reporting on cost status and risk exposure. • Standardize cost governance best practices across vehicle lines.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of automotive engineering or program management experience.
• 2+ years leading teams or cross-functional cost initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of cost processes, Design-to-cost methodology GPDS milestone governance
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and program directors.

Position 3: Jira Engineer, Engineering Systems, Dashboards & Reporting Enablement Position Overview: The Jira Engineer enables engineering and program management teams by designing, building, and maintaining Jira-based dashboards, filters, and reporting tools that support vehicle program execution and milestone tracking. This role serves as a key bridge between engineering users and data systems, ensuring accurate visibility into program health while improving efficiency and standardization across teams. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Jira dashboards and filters to support engineering and program tracking. • Write and optimize advanced JQL (Jira Query Language) queries. • Build and maintain both high-level executive dashboards and detailed engineering-level views. • Partner with Program Management Engineers and Engineering Leads to align Jira reporting with GPDS milestones and deliverables. • Provide direct support to engineers by answering Jira-related questions and troubleshooting issues. • Train engineering teams on Jira usage, best practices, and reporting capabilities. • Support standardization of Jira workflows, fields, and reporting structures across programs. • Evaluate and support usage of Atlassian tools and plugins (e.g., integrations with Confluence or reporting tools). • Continuously improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and usability within Jira environments. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 3+ years of experience working with Jira in an engineering or technical environment. • In-depth knowledge of Jira dashboards and filters. • Strong JQL expertise. • General knowledge of Atlassian applications and ecosystem. • Proven ability to build and maintain both strategic and detailed dashboards. • Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support technical users.
