Job Description
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to site operations through coordination, document management, purchasing support, and organization of policies and procedures. This office-based role supports a manufacturing/industrial site and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support, including calendar management, email coordination, and scheduling.
- Organize and maintain electronic files, procedures, policies, and shared records.
- Support document control and electronic records management activities.
- Assist with purchasing processes, including creating purchase requisitions and ordering supplies and materials.
- Review, verify, and maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Ensure files and administrative processes remain organized and up to date.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and basic Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately review, manage, and maintain documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior administrative support experience in an office or industrial environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP is a plus but not required.
- Experience creating purchase requisitions and supporting purchasing activities.
- SAP training can be provided for candidates with strong administrative experience.
