Position Summary
The EH&S Technician supports the implementation of the Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Management System by executing environmental programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting plant operations. This role serves as a key environmental resource for the site, provides hands-on technical support, and helps achieve plant EH&S objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Implement day-to-day environmental programs in accordance with EH&S standards, procedures, and work processes.

Support compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.

Serve as the plant resource and point of contact for environmental-related matters.

Collect, analyze, maintain, and report environmental data and records.

Monitor and complete required environmental compliance activities.

Coach and support employees on environmental procedures and best practices.

Assist in achieving plant EH&S goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide technical guidance on environmental processes and standards.

Support and mentor less experienced team members as needed.
Qualifications

Associate's degree in Environmental Science, EH&S, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Experience in EH&S, manufacturing, industrial operations, or a related environment preferred.
Preferred Skills

Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.

Experience with environmental reporting, data collection, and recordkeeping.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard data management tools.
